Looking for a review of Money Bootcamp by Denise Duffield Thomas? I am a Money Bootcamp student (a “Lucky B”) who joined in spring 2025.

I had devoured all of Denise Duffield Thomas’s books and followed her on social media before joining the course.

I find Denise to be such a wise, inspirational person and I knew that being a part of her community would enhance my life and help me bring my income (as a self-employed woman) to the next level.

I’m going to jump into:

  • the pros and cons of the Money Bootcamp course; my opinion of its strengths and weaknesses
  • how Money Bootcamp has changed or transformed anything in my life for the better
  • who I recommend (or don’t recommend) the course to

So, let’s get into it – an honest review of Money Bootcamp by Denise Duffield Thomas!

How Money Bootcamp Has Transformed My Income (and Relationship with Money)

I want to add that I am not affiliated with Money Bootcamp at all, and am not receiving any commissions in exchange for this review. This is just my honest opinion (both good and bad) from having been a part of the Money Bootcamp course for almost 6 months

Money Bootcamp has been overall very beneficial to me in scaling my business, developing a healthier relationship with money – and overall, becoming richer.

Joining Money Bootcamp helped me in the following ways:

  • Heal from past traumas that keep me at a certain net worth and income level
  • How to speak back to the voices in my head telling me that I’m not worth the amount of money I dream of making
  • Clean up my finances
  • Put myself out there more, as a creator and a businesswoman
  • Improve my confidence
  • Forgive myself for past mistakes and failures
  • Practice self-acceptance (which has incredible implications for your whole life, including finances)

I can’t imagine where I’d be right now had I not signed up for Money Bootcamp. I am so glad that I invested in myself by taking the course and would definitely recommend it to anyone.

Having said that – nothing is perfect. So let’s jump into the pros and cons of the course so that you know about both its strengths and limitations before committing to it.

Pros and Cons of Money Bootcamp (From MY Experience)

Pros of Money Bootcamp

  • The course content. I thought Denise’s money mindset books were extremely helpful but after going through the course, I feel like they only scratch the surface in terms of what improvements can be made in your relationship with money. Even if you’ve read all of Denise’s books, there’s still stuff in the course that aren’t in her books
  • Amazing Facebook community. Money Bootcamp Facebook group is one of my favourite Facebook groups to be a part of. It’s one of the most positive, uplifting spaces on the internet. Especially as many groups and forums have become so negative, the MBC group is one that has a strong sense of positive, hope, and support. I have shared more vulnerable things in there than I’ve shared in many spaces, and have gotten so many helpful replies from both Denise and her team, as well as other amazing Lucky Bs.
  • Community support mentors. Denise has team members that are paid to be professional mentors and leaders in the group. I find it adds more professionalism to the group and more support for everyone
  • Denise is active in the group. She doesn’t just leave it to her team – she comments and interacts with us Lucky Bs in the group too.
  • Monthly live calls. There is a live call every month with Denise in real time. She does different calls in three different time zones to accommodate Lucky Bs that live all over the world!
  • Handouts with every module. Each course module comes with handouts that you can print off and fill out. I put the pages in a binder and it was a great way to work through the modules.
  • High production value. The videos of Denise talking, the lighting and music in the course modules is all high professional quality. It almost seems like watching someone on their own talk show. This doesn’t impact the course content directly – but it feels nice to turn on and watch. You have the sence that you’ve taken a ‘first class’ course

Cons of Money Bootcamp

  • The monthly calls are on Facebook Live. I sometimes wish the live calls weren’t on Facebook live, because I find it hard to keep track of comments and the video content
  • Self-promotion in the Facebook group. This is just a small detail, but its worth mentioning. I have noticed that there are some members of the Money Bootcamp Facebook group that are trying to find clients. Many of them are life coahes, and people who signed up for MBC would also be a good candidate for whatever they’re selling. I wish 100% of the Lucky Bs in the Facebook were there just to connect with others and make friends, but the reality is that in a group of over 4,000 members, there are some hoping to profit off the group too.

Bottom Line – Do I Recommend Money Bootcamp?

I absolutely DO recommend the Money Bootcamp course! It’s been a life-changing course for me and something I wish I could buy for every woman in my family and friend circle.

Here are some signs that Money Bootcamp is worth it for you:

  • You’re self-employed. The course can be relevant to anyone, including a salaried employee. But a lot of the content is more relevant to people who run a business, even if it’s just a side hustle to a regular 9-5
  • You would love to be wealthy (who doesn’t? )
  • You’re not making the kind of money you want, or deserve.
  • You struggle with work-life balance
  • You find it scary to put yourself out there sometimes. You struggle with feelings of self-doubt or a lack of confidence.
  • You’re in debt, or tend to spend too much money.
  • You feel guilty about spending money, even if its to invest in yourself

The above are some signs that the course will be very valuable to you. If the majority of the above statements are true for you, then I think you’ll find the course as ground-breaking and life-changing as I did.

2 Things to Do Before Signing Up for the Money Bootcamp Course

1. Read the book(s)

If you’re not a reader, no worries. The course would still be helpful. But if you can, I highly recommend reading Denise Duffield Thomas’s books before you join the course.

The content will deepen your knowledge and understanding of what you leared in the books, and take things a step further.

2. Get a binder, and figure out where to print

Before starting the course, I made sure I had an organized space to keep the handouts, and I printed them all of.

It made for a more easygoing way to go through the course and write down my thoughts and reflections.

Final Thoughts on this Money Bootcamp Course Review

No one’s money mindset is perfect, and even Denise says that the Facebook community and reviewing her own material are crucial for keeping up the abundance mindset and attracting more money.

I’ve listed the only two downsides I can think of (which, as you can see are pretty minor) and definitely think the course is 100% worth it if you want to be rich. Hopefully I will see you soon in Money Bootcamp!
